About Me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Communication at Cornell University advised by Dr. Andrea Stevenson Won.

I am a human-computer interaction (HCI) researcher with a focus on collaborative virtual environments (CVEs). I am particularly interested in exploring how embodied interactions with CVEs facilitate team communication, learning, as well as mediate other aspects of social interactions (e.g., nonverbal behavior).

My passion for the intersection of emerging media pedagogy cross-cuts both my teaching and research, and I am strong advocate for the critical development, assesment, and adoption of innovative pedagogies that foster active engagement through a process-oriented approach to learning.
